In Australia, there has been a reported 400% increase in inquiries around solar energy for residential homes in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Solar energy has already been growing at a more rapid pace in Australia as compared to the United States, with 15% of Australian homes sporting solar compared to only 1.6% in the United States. However, with a scarcity mindset inspired by the current pandemic and a recent increase in reported cases in the United States, solar inquiries could likely increase in the US as well.
